A defiant maiden ODI century from Neil Broom has lifted New Zealand to 251 in the second ODI against Bangladesh.
Electing to field first, Bangladesh bowlers had New Zealand on the ropes but Broom rescued the hosts with a glittering 109 in Nelson’s Saxton Oval on Thursday.
Trailing the ODI series 1-0, Bangladesh handed wicketkeeper Nurul Hasan, paceman Subashis Roy and legspinner Tanbir Hayder debuts.
